First of all, I apologize for not being here last week.

Last week was a very, very challenging week for Dave.

I was, I wasn't feeling good, but I wasn't feeling sick.

I was just feeling down.

And I'll be honest with you, I couldn't come up with a lot to talk about after I recorded the this program for the week before.

I really, really jumped in and so I really jumped into AI.

I got caught up and we started working and working and working and working and working.

And I think I talked about it last week on the last episode, but I want to reiterate some of the things I've done.

When I went to Claude, I told him what I wanted to do.

I told him everything I wanted to do and it, it went really, really well.

They may be challenged where others may be.

I get this right away, Dave.

I know what I'm doing and that's fantastic and I think it's a great way to look at it.

But this will give you a step by step by step by step process of where to go and what to do.

Is it hard?

No.

Does it make you think it does?

So I think I mentioned that the book that I had written, I, I wasn't completely satisfied with it.

I wasn't unhappy with it, I was very happy with it.

But when I went to Claude and I said, hey, I want this to be a little different.

Look at this.

See what you can, what you think of it.

Show me the changes you would make.

I'd already written it, so it, it went, went in, changed a couple of things like the color of the, of the, of the book is different now.

And I liked it because it was blue.

It wasn't shading, it wasn't gradient or anything like that.

It's just a solid blue cover and it's got white lettering and it's got the logo up there.

But the logo has changed a little bit.

It's now gone to a white microphone with a gold little loop through it.

Now it's not a loop, it's more of a swoosh.

Not a Nike swoosh, but it's a, it's a gray hair, voices swoosh.

Anyway, I think you'll like it.

Claude also told me to go to Etsy.

I started working on Etsy a little bit the other day.

Now Etsy charges for a setup fee where payhip does not and where I, if I'm going to go look for a book, I'm going to go to Amazon.

Amazon doesn't, you know, first of all, this book, you can't do it as an e reader because there's forms to fill out, there's charts, there's, you got to write your ideas down and it's better in, in paperback or in paper.

So I mean, you can do it.

And it is a, it is a PDF and payhip, it will also be in Etsy when it's finished, but there's just no way in.

And I'm finding it very, very difficult in Amazon to sell it.

It's not like a regular book.

I mean, there are a lot of books like that, but they don't, they're not designed the way I designed my book.

Now should I go back and change the way my book looks to fit Amazon's way?

Maybe, maybe I could ask Claude change the format to make it compatible with Amazon.

But I was trying real hard and just to get the COVID in the right and the pages, and it had to be an eight and a half by 11, which is fine, but that, you know, and it's still only 26 pages.

It's not a lot of pages, folks.

It's not a lot of work.

A lot of it is do this and this and this and here's how to write it down.

What are your, what are you most interested in?

What is your passion?

And it also talks about show notes and, and, and show prep, you know, and things like that.

And it gives you some room to write things down so you've got them in one place.

So maybe I'll look into that tomorrow after I get home from work and see what I can do about that, because I think that's a good idea.

I.

But Amazon also takes more of your profit, so I mean, there's that too.

And I don't know if that's what I want.

You know, they take a lot of profit out.

But I'll look into that just to see what's going on with that.

So let me talk about one more thing before we get into to the rest.

And these are my examples.

The podcasts that I have already put out, the podcasts that I'm doing continuously now.

I mean, I. I was approached by one person who said, hey, congratulations for sticking in their past 200 episodes.

And my first thought was, well, thank you.

That's kind of nice.

Nice to hear somebody say congratulations for.

Not for.

First of all, going past 10.

Most podcasts don't go past 10.

Most stop at 7.

In fact, I've got two that stopped at 7 because something changed.

One of them, which was called Memories from the Mouse, which was where I was interviewing at the time.

They were all laid off cast members, but we were.

I was talking about the memories and magic that you made for the guests and that the guests made for you, and it turned into a completely different thing.

Talking about their life story at Disney.

And if I ever retire, I'm going to go back to that.

I'm starting to build names for that, too, but that's a long story.

I stopped when I got ready to go back to Disney to work, and.

And then I had another one, which was called My Journey Online, where I was talking about, you know, affiliate marketing, drop shipping, those types of things, and what would work best for everybody.

I was trying to explain what they were, and I got to the point where I just didn't want to do that anymore.

So I stopped.

And then came Poetry of Christian Faith.

A Poetry of Christian Faith was originally called God's Rhyme.

These were books.

These were all off of books that my brother had written.

I wanted to have a podcast about it.

This was Christian poetry.

And got into more than just Christian poetry because he read one or two, sometimes three poems a week.

And we did that for two years.

Every Sunday we'd record every Sunday.

Well, we did take a month off, and we ended at number 100.

So I was very, very proud of that one.

It was.

It was audio and video.

You can see the differences in me.

It's.

Before the long beard, you know, it's.

It's a passion of mine.

It's something I enjoy doing.

I'm enjoying the.

In bringing AI into my process of what's going to happen AI all.

Claude and I have been going back and forth in this conversation also about a podcast, a limited podcast, like a series about the book and doing it on video so I can put it on YouTube so it can be evergreen.

And I like the idea.

I really, really like the idea.

And I said, can you give me an outline?

It gave me an outline.

It actually gave me a script if I want to use it.

If I don't want to use it.

I mean, I want to.

I may use it as an outline, but it was.

What.

Because it has read the book numerous times for me.

It knows what I'm doing.

And when you get to AI and using AI more and more and more and more and more and more, it gets to know you.

It gets to know how you talk, it gets to know your thoughts.

And Glauden's doing a very, very good job for me.

Am I using it for everything?

No.

Am I using it for artwork?

No, I'm not using it for artwork for this program.

I'm just not.

I don't.

That's not what I want to do.

So use it as a tool.

It's an assistant and I've been using it that way, too.

It's now checking my emails.

I'm letting it.

I'm trying it out because it.

With co work cloud, cowork, you can let it go into your emails and check them.

So I've got a bunch of Gmails from years ago and from ones I'm using now because I. I love YouTube TV.

And I've got one.

Just one is I got one email account with Gmail just because I want, you know, YouTube TV, but I let it go through there and delete all the things that are garbage and spam or I let it move it around because I want to see what it'll do.

I'll get back to you on that.

So we're running just a little long and I apologize for that because I went on and on and on.

But I'm very excited about this book.

Because realistically, you listen to radio and they repeat the songs every half an hour, right?

Talk radio isn't what it used to be.

It really isn't, because it's one side hating the other and the other side hating that side.

I can't take that much anymore.

Local radio is great, but at some point you got to talk about politics because there ain't much else going on besides the sports and the weather and what's happened in town.

So.

And I love local radio.

I will listen to local AM often, but I'm.

I'm doing podcasts now, and I be honest with you, it's very, very rare that I ever turn my car radio to audio, to the radio.

I always have it on set, on podcast.

I get in, I pick a podcast from my phone, boom, up and goes.

You can do that, too.

You can.
