Speaker AHe has gray hair.
Speaker AHe has a gray beard.
Speaker AHe wears glasses like the guy in the artwork.
Speaker AOh, and the guy in the artwork is better looking.
Speaker ANow here is gray hair Dave.
Speaker BWell, well, well, folks.
Speaker BWhat did you think that was?
Speaker B11 labs IO.
Speaker BYes, 11 labs IO and that's the whole word.
Speaker B11 labs IO.
Speaker BHow are you today?
Speaker BTrying a different position with my camera today on ECAMM Live to see if this makes a difference.
Speaker BAnd was playing around with a green screen and wasn't having the exact luck that I wanted.
Speaker BI wanted something specific.
Speaker BI couldn't get it.
Speaker BSo now you're just getting a different view of the office.
Speaker BHope that that's a little bit better than you looking at my bed.
Speaker BI do make my bed every day.
Speaker BBut anyways, how you doing today?
Speaker BI hope you're doing well.
Speaker BI was also.
Speaker BSo I wanted to apologize for being a little bit late to record this.
Speaker BI wasn't feeling well on Sunday when I normally record.
Speaker BNormally when I take my shot, my Wegovy shot, I take that on Saturday.
Speaker BWell, Saturday is my day off and usually it doesn't affect me much.
Speaker BMaybe a little upset stomach a little.
Speaker BA little later in the day, you know, I.
Speaker BLittle Pepto Bismol and I feel better.
Speaker BI woke up Sunday morning and wasn't feeling all that fantastic.
Speaker BA little cranky, a little grumpy, a little feeling under the weather basically.
Speaker BAnd so I didn't record.
Speaker BAnd then yesterday I was.
Speaker BI got caught up in a couple other things I didn't record.
Speaker BNow I realized, oh crud, I hadn't recorded.
Speaker BSo here we are, we're back.
Speaker BWe are doing video and audio today.
Speaker BI just think I mentioned that it's something I'm going to start doing all the time today though, instead of using my, my E MEAT camera, I'm using my cell phone.
Speaker BNext week I'm going to use an XLR camera.
Speaker BI'm going to keep trying different things, see what gives me the best video and just go with that from then on.
Speaker BYou know what I'm saying?
Speaker BSo that's what, what's going on with us.
Speaker BYou guys get to help me and also be a guinea pig.
Speaker BI also went out and picked up one of these.
Speaker BI got this on Amazon.
Speaker BI think it was.
Speaker BIt wasn't that bad and I want to try it one day with that also where I'll record with that one and another one and another camera probably when I use the xlr.
Speaker BBut I wanted you to know what was going on.
Speaker BSo that you know what's going on.
Speaker BAnd then if you're thinking about doing a video or becoming a YouTuber or a video podcaster, you're going through this with me.
Speaker BI'm also going to put this kind of thing over on Boomer Podcasters.
Speaker BI'm going to start recording that this weekend.
Speaker BI got a whole bunch set up to record and once I record and it'll give me some time to edit and I can post them 1, 2, 3 and 4 and continue on with that.
Speaker BBut if you're interested in something like that, go Togray hair productions.com Let me know and I'd be happy, you know, leave me a message.
Speaker BI'll be happy to get back in touch with you and we'll, we'll figure this out.
Speaker BRight.
Speaker BSo what else is going on?
Speaker BOh, just back to the.
Speaker BExcuse me here and here in my mouth.
Speaker BDon't know where that came from.
Speaker BI back to the weight loss.
Speaker BI have lost a couple more pounds, so I'm getting closer and closer.
Speaker BIt slowed down and from the very beginning I lost five pounds.
Speaker BBoom, just like that.
Speaker BI mean it was quick as could be and then it slowed down.
Speaker BIf you see me looking to my left once in a while, I'm looking at the screen to see what's going on.
Speaker BTo see what where we at on time.
Speaker BBecause I've, I have an L shaped desk and the camera, the emeat camera faces the wall with a window this way.
Speaker BI'm facing a corner.
Speaker BSo you're going to get in there, you're going to get a corner of the bedroom, you know, my office bedroom.
Speaker BMy bedroom office.
Speaker BAnd then a door, which is fine.
Speaker BI think I like that better than me looking at the, at the, at the bed.
Speaker BAnd then I think the next time I'm going to move it over to the right a little bit more so we're looking directly at that wall.
Speaker BBut anyway, how you been?
Speaker BHow you been?
Speaker BI have been thinking about what's next with this production here.
Speaker BFive minutes of Gray Hair, Dave.
Speaker BAnd I'm just going to keep going with the way it, way it is.
Speaker BI thought about making some changes, going back and doing a couple things.
Speaker BI started in the beginning and then I decided now let's just keep doing this.
Speaker BSo this is what you're going to get out of me now if you live in the United States, which not all of you do.
Speaker BAnd by the way, I have to say, for those of you who follow me, thank you.
Speaker BMy numbers are up.
Speaker BGreat Britain, Russia, Germany, France, Australia, Austria, The Netherlands.
Speaker BI mean I, I just, I'm gonna open my other, my laptop up so it doesn't bother my other computer.
Speaker BI'm going to pull it up.
Speaker BI'm going to give you some stats here and let you know where, where we got people listening.
Speaker BBecause I find this very, very interesting that you guys are out there and you, you know, you're, you're listening to me all over the world.
Speaker BSo let me look here.
Speaker BWe have got United States, Brazil, Singapore, Australia, Germany, Pakistan, Argentina, Austria, Ecuador, France, India, Ireland, the Netherlands, Peru, Russia, South Africa and Trinidad and Tobago.
Speaker BOr is it Tobago?
Speaker BI think it's Tobago.
Speaker BI'm have to look up how to say that now.
Speaker BBut if you look at the map, I'm all over the world here.
Speaker BAnd that's thanks to you.
Speaker BI'm here for you guys.
Speaker BNow don't get me wrong, I'm also here for me.
Speaker BThis is something that does help me get, get out there, keep my name out there, keep gray haired Dave out there.
Speaker BBut it also is something that keeps me in practice, keeps me in front of the microphone, which right now is over here instead of here.
Speaker BNow is it optimal here?
Speaker BNo, not at all.
Speaker BBut where I have it set up on my desk with my boom arm.
Speaker BThat's kind of like a swing arm.
Speaker BIt'll move back and forth or up and down, but it doesn't reach for this scenario.
Speaker BSo if I'm going to keep this scenario, I'm going to end up moving the boom arm, which is fine.
Speaker BThe desk can be rearranged.
Speaker BIt's not a big deal.
Speaker BJust wanted you to know what that was.
Speaker BIf I'm a little light, I'm gonna, I'm gonna adjust it in post production but now I got some things to do.
Speaker BI got to get out here in a few minutes around and run some errands.
Speaker BBut I wanted to get this out.
Speaker BBut anyways, back to the United States and I'm sure around the world you all are watching this because I think you, if, if I didn't live in this country, I would think that this was absolutely hilarious.
Speaker BHilarious.
Speaker BWhat's going on in, in the United States?
Speaker BI really do.
Speaker BIt's election day in, in the country, which is always when it's going to be an election.
Speaker BUnless it's a special election the first Tuesday of November.
Speaker BWell, there's this big race in New Jersey and then there's this big race in New York City.
Speaker BNow I'm not going to go deep in the weeds on what politics.
Speaker BI'm, I'm I'm looking at here what politics I follow, but it's just, it's is fun to watch, I have to admit.
Speaker BThese people are going nuts.
Speaker BPlus, in the middle of all this, you've got the government shutdown of the United States.
Speaker BThis, this shutdown became real four days ago, November 1st.
Speaker BOver here we have a program.
Speaker BNow if you live in the United States, you know about this, but if you don't, I'm going to explain.
Speaker BFor, for those that don't live here, we have something called the SNAP program and that's assistance for those folks who, who can't afford to buy enough food for themselves and for their children.
Speaker BIt's a program where the government gives you a certain amount of money every month to help you with your food.
Speaker BAnd it's very specific.
Speaker BWe used to call it food stamps and then they changed the name to SNAP and they combined a couple agencies.
Speaker BBut basically this is to make sure that the kids are getting fed in, in the low and, and in a low income or in homeless communities.
Speaker BSo that didn't go out on the first.
Speaker BAnd then the President was able to get them, I think a portion of it by moving some money around.
Speaker BBut you know, military folks weren't getting paid.
Speaker BWell, he found a way, the President found a way to do that.
Speaker BI don't know if he's going to be able to do it again.
Speaker BBut you know, and then you got, we have all these federal employees who are either working without pay or not working and not getting paid or being laid off.
Speaker BAnd it's.
Speaker BOne of them is air traffic controllers.
Speaker BI am very, very glad that I am not flying anywhere soon, I really am because I wouldn't want to be dealing with this delays and cancellations at the airports.
Speaker BAnd I'm sorry, if you come to work every day, you deserve to be paid.
Speaker BWhether you work for the government or not, I'm sorry, you deserve to be paid.
Speaker BThat's, that's not the American way.
Speaker BThat's the way of life.
Speaker BYou put in a day's work, you get a day's pay.
Speaker BNow you've negotiated what that pay is or your, your union is in that, in the case of the air traffic controllers and other unions.
Speaker BBut this is the wage that the, the company or the government has said, we're going to pay you per hour and darn it, pay them.
Speaker BAnd one party in America is saying, well, you know, this is our only leverage.
Speaker BYour only leverage is people's lives, people's lives, people's livelihood.
Speaker BPeople are out there Going to be hungry now.
Speaker BPeople are out there who have.
Speaker BWho've been living paycheck to paycheck to begin with because the economy hasn't come back to exactly where we want it to be.
Speaker BBut yet they live paycheck to paycheck and now they don't get a paycheck.
Speaker BWhat are they going to do?
Speaker BI mean, I am sure at most banks will help out or understand when it comes to mortgages and lighting companies.
Speaker BBut we're coming into winter.
Speaker BIt's already started to cool down into the 40s, you know, and 30s in some parts of the country.
Speaker BIt's going to start getting cold.
Speaker BThis is ridiculous.
Speaker BAnd I'm going to say this.
Speaker BAnd this.
Speaker BThis is all I'm going to say.
Speaker BThese politicians in Washington, D.C. need to pull their heads out of the back side of their body.
Speaker BThere's an orifice there.
Speaker BThey need to pull their heads out of that.
Speaker BGo vote to start paying these people because they've done their work.
Speaker BThis is asinine.
Speaker BI didn't call it stupid.
Speaker BI called it asinine.
Speaker BPlaying with people's lives.
Speaker BHow dare you.
Speaker BYou should be ashamed of yourselves.
Speaker BI don't care what the differences between the two parties are.
Speaker BThis is ridiculous.
Speaker BI hope you agree with me.
Speaker BI say I'm not being political on one side or the other.
Speaker BI'm not blaming one side or the other.
Speaker BI'm just blaming them all from the Republicans for not doing whatever they can do to get this done.
Speaker BNot blaming the Democrats for not y'.
Speaker BAll.
Speaker BAll of you are at fault in my mind, every single one of you.
Speaker BSo get off your butts and do something.
Speaker BThere we go.
Speaker BI got off my.
Speaker BGet off my soapbox now.
Speaker BSo, folks, let me ask you this.
