Speaker AOh, and the guy in the artwork is better looking.
Speaker ANow, tariff free.
Speaker AHere is Gray Hair Dave.
Speaker AWell, well, well, folks.
Speaker AWelcome back to Five Minutes with Gray Hair Dave.
Speaker AYep, that's me.
Speaker AYep.
Speaker AYou heard the intro, right?
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker AHow are you today, folks?
Speaker AHope you're doing well.
Speaker AHey, I wanted to.
Speaker ATalk to you a little bit about 11Labs IO.
Speaker ANow, 11Labs IO is a artificial intelligence program that will take your written word and, and make it into a voice like you just heard or the other intros you've heard in the past from me.
Speaker AOr it will.
Speaker AIt will record your voice and change it for you or make it different or however you want to do it.
Speaker AGo to the show notes in this podcast and look up and hit, you know, Tap on the ElevenLabs IE link.
Speaker AIt'll take you to ElevenLabs IO.
Speaker APlay with it a little bit and if you decide to use it, if you use that link, I am a affiliate, so I'll get a little bit of cash back from, from your purchase, which would help to free some of the costs here on Five Minutes with Gray here, Dave.
Speaker ASo other than that, how are we doing?
Speaker AWe are recording video today because I wanted to show a few things.
Speaker AOn.
Speaker AOn my screen so that you all get to see what's going on.
Speaker AOkay.
Speaker ALast week I was talking about.
Speaker APerplexity and during that I had mentioned that I was going to tell you and show you the results.
Speaker AWhat I have put into perplexity, Let me, for those of you who are just listening on the audio, I'll tell you what's going on as we do it.
Speaker ABut let me, let me change over here to.
Speaker AThis on.
Speaker AOn my screen.
Speaker AThis is Perplexity over here, folks.
Speaker AAll this over here.
Speaker ASo what we've got.
Speaker ALet me move this screen out of the way.
Speaker AWhat we've got here is the.
Speaker APerplexity app.
Speaker AAnd what I put in was that I was looking for a particular.
Speaker AWay to have Perplexity search the Internet search, Reddit.
Speaker ALinked and Facebook, Instagram, Twitter threads and places like that to find.
Speaker APeople who were looking for audio or video editors for podcasts.
Speaker AIt didn't have to be just for podcasts, but it went into these forums and it would look for it.
Speaker AAnd this is what it came back for on, on doing it well.
Speaker AAnd I remember I told you I had to, to have it do this.
Speaker AI needed it to be in a pro Or a prower.
Speaker AIt needed to be in a pro version of Perplexity.
Speaker ASo I had to get Perplexity Labs, which I did.
Speaker AAnd Perplexity Labs is very, very intuitive.
Speaker AIt's very, very good.
Speaker AI am, I enjoyed it.
Speaker AAnd it's, it worked really well.
Speaker AYou too can get it.
Speaker AIt's not hard to get, but what I did then is I, I started my agent up in real time.
Speaker AI wanted it to look for.
Speaker AFor these things that I was looking for.
Speaker AAnd I just mentioned, you know, the people looking for.
Speaker AFor editors.
Speaker AAnd then I wanted it to send it over to me or back to me.
Speaker AAnd I wanted this to be done daily around 8 o' clock in the morning.
Speaker AI wanted it to be sent back to me so I could put it in a, you know, in a, in a spreadsheet of some sort.
Speaker AAnd it started doing all these things how it gave me how to set it up, you know, perfectly, and all these.
Speaker AIt was, it was advanced, but it was, it would give me, you know, options on which way to go.
Speaker AAnd I know that this is kind of hard to read here, but it's, it's not bad.
Speaker AAnd then I started, I mean, I told you, I let it run for a week before I did anything to it.
Speaker ASo I started getting the emails daily.
Speaker AOkay, so here's where we're at on it right now with Perplexity.
Speaker AThis is the Perplexity browser.
Speaker AIt's actually called Comet, but it's Perplexity that I'm using.
Speaker AAnd it's, it's very, very good.
Speaker AAnd you can use it just like any other.
Speaker ABrowser.
Speaker ABut I use it specifically for, for this or any other AI that I'm going to be working on.
Speaker ANow, when you go and you look at other things on here, it'll give you different aspects, but, but what it came up with.
Speaker AAnd let me move over here to.
Speaker AWhat it's coming back with now.
Speaker APerplexity sent me an email every day.
Speaker ANow today, here's one where somebody is actually looking for somebody to edit an hour and a half podcast for a rate of $70 an hour.
Speaker ASo that'd be about $105 or $115, which is fine.
Speaker AIt's not bad for an hour and a half if it's just cleanup, which is what he's asking for.
Speaker ABut let me go back over here.
Speaker AAnd the very first day, here's what it came back with.
Speaker AReddit lead with buying Internet.
Speaker AIt went through LinkedIn.
Speaker AChris Stone was looking for one on Twitter.
Speaker AThere's no suitable Activity.
Speaker ADay two Reddit, you know it's, it came back with one that they're looking for $30 an hour immediate start, but they're looking for somebody to, to, to hire permanently.
Speaker AAnd there's another one from Reddit and the third day which would have been a Tuesday last week.
Speaker ANo leads found.
Speaker ANo individuals or small businesses posting clear or request current trends.
Speaker ARecommend recommendations to increase leads.
Speaker ABroaden search to three to seven day window makes sense.
Speaker AAdjust include adjacent phrases such and add sources like Facebook groups and Discord servers, which makes sense.
Speaker AHere's day four it is not possible to reliably locate or verify podcasts from the last 24 hours time window filters.
Speaker ADay 5 no fresh leads results.
Speaker AMost hits were older threads Suggestions set up automated hourly or daily searches.
Speaker ASaved alerts on Reddit Next and also LinkedIn.
Speaker AHere we go.
Speaker ADay 6 right 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 yes, platform limits explained.
Speaker AThe tool cannot, the tools cannot reliably pull Only the last 24 hours.
Speaker APosts across Reddit, LinkedIn, Twitter X and forums because search filters, logins and rate limits block real time access.
Speaker AManually search flow lead qualification outreach.
Speaker ASo it's, it's telling me that I've reached some limits on what I'm trying to do.
Speaker AWhich is, is a good test.
Speaker AIt's a good, it really is.
Speaker AIt tells me.
Speaker AYou know the one I had yesterday, it says set up, monitoring, respond response recommends Google alerts, Reddit, RSS and creator focus spaces like our podcasting on Reddit and LinkedIn groups.
Speaker ADemand still exists.
Speaker ARecent but older posts show strong needs.
Speaker ANow you got to remember last week when I was looking at this.
Speaker AWe were looking at only.
Speaker AWe were looking at the week of Thanksgiving which is not really a great place to just be looking.
Speaker ASo let me try and get ECAMM back here.
Speaker ALet me minimize you.
Speaker AOh.
Speaker ALet'S go back here to you now.
Speaker AWith that being said.
Speaker AAll right, this is, I mean this is what's going on basically.
Speaker ABut with that being said, I need to go in and I need to update what I'm going to say to perplexity.
Speaker ASo I am going to go in and I'm going to add that I want it to go back three to seven days.
Speaker AI'm only going to run it every other day.
Speaker AI'm going to add Google alerts, I'm going to add more specifics when it comes to LinkedIn and Reddit.
Speaker AAnd I'm going to add Discord as well as substack.
Speaker AI want it to start searching substack now.
Speaker ASubstack is for posting things, but that doesn't mean that they may not have something there.
Speaker AWe're going to find out, but I want to find out this way so we have that option available to us too.
Speaker AI am going to reply to the person who was looking for the $70 an hour.
Speaker ABut realistically, if you think about this, all I'm doing is getting rid of the ums and odds.
Speaker AYeah, I can do all that.
Speaker AAnd I can do that relatively quickly just using Descript.
Speaker ABut descript is something that I pay for when it comes to editing things.
Speaker AI also like to listen to the whole thing, see what I got to do.
Speaker AI'll put markers in.
Speaker AOr there's a program that I use called.
Speaker AIt's just for.
Speaker ASpecifically for marking up audio.
Speaker ANow that could be for music or anything else.
Speaker AIt's not tracks, but it's what it does is I can.
Speaker AOkay, marker here, marker here, marker here.
Speaker AHere's where I need to take out, take out, take out.
Speaker AAnd then I can edit it myself and get it done rather quickly.
Speaker ABut we're talking two and a half, two to two and a half, maybe three hours to get that all done for an hour and a half show.
Speaker AThat's what people don't understand.
Speaker AAnd I, I don't, I don't blame them for this because I was the same way in the very beginning, too.
Speaker AWhen I first started my podcasting journey, I would take.
Speaker AOh my gosh, if I had a 45 minute podcast, it would take me three, three and a half hours to edit it.
Speaker ASo I go back, I play with it, I get rid of the ums and the odds, and then I go back and I start doing the, the enhancing, you know, the equalization, the compression and things such as that, you know, and noise reduction.
Speaker AAnd so those things will take a little bit of time.
Speaker ABut now I'm doing multiple things at once.
Speaker AI'm eqing as I am, you know, editing ums and haws and dead spaces and things such as that.
Speaker AYou know, as you get better in your craft, you do more things at one time, which is just nature.
Speaker AIt's the way things work.
Speaker AIt's the way I work.
Speaker ASo I wanted you to know all about that.
Speaker AThat's what's happening with the.
Speaker AThe AI helping me find work for my business.
Speaker AI thought you'd like to hear that and I thought that you'd like to see some of it.
Speaker ANow, me sharing my screen and recording it at the same time is, Is new to me, but you guys are going to be there with me as I go through this, I'm going to edit it and it's going to look better.
Speaker AYou know, we'll get it out on YouTube in a day or two.
Speaker ABut I wanted you to see what was going on.
Speaker ASo what else is going on, folks, really quickly?
Speaker AThere's.
Speaker AThere's not much else going on in my life.
Speaker AI mean, I've been living.
Speaker AOh, yeah, here we go.
Speaker AYes, yes, yes.
Speaker AMy brother was down from up north this last week, and he was staying with his daughter.
Speaker AAnd we got together on Saturday and we went out to a nice restaurant, had some.
Speaker AHad some Mexican food.
Speaker AThen we.
Speaker AWe went to a bar at Universal Studios.
Speaker AIt was.
Speaker AOh, it was Pete's Piano Bar, but it was basically an Irish bar, but they had dueling pianos.
Speaker AAnd we were there for, oh, I don't know, two or three hours.
Speaker AIt was a really fun time.
Speaker AAnd, you know, you request songs and.
Speaker AAnd these people could play anything.
Speaker AI was very, very amazed.
Speaker AI mean, just.
Speaker AAnd then helping each other out and singing with each other and against each other.
Speaker AIt was a lot of fun.
Speaker AIf, if you ever have a chance to go to a dueling Vienna piano bar, I suggest you do it.
Speaker AI really do.
Speaker AIt's a lot of fun.
Speaker AThe crowd gets involved, you know, especially when there's drinking involved there, the crowd's going to get involved.
Speaker ASo I think the whole time we were there, I nursed a beer because I really wasn't in the mood for beer, but I wasn't in the mood for Diet Coke.
Speaker ASo anyways.
Speaker AThat'S what's new and happening down here in Central Florida from.
Speaker AFor all of you around the world.

Speaker ASomebody was in a parking lot and saw my license plate.
Speaker ABecause on my license plate I've got that right there, that little guy, you know, for those of you in audio, I'm pointing to my, my logo Five Minutes with Gray Hair Dave podcast.
Speaker AI got it made onto a license plate and it's on the very front of my car.
